What we install

This is the whole thing. On a wall.

A Navien tankless unit, roughly the footprint of a carry-on, mounted where nothing used to fit. It heats water as it passes through, so there is no tank to run dry, no tank to fill with sediment, and no tank to rupture.

  • Every install gets our service tag with the date and warranty on it
  • We haul the old tank away the same day
  • Licensed, bonded and insured under Arizona ROC #356064

The old tank leaves in our van the same day. You do not have to deal with it.

Read the room

Six signs your tank is about to make the decision for you.

If two or more of these sound familiar, you're not shopping early. You're shopping right on time.

It's 8 or more years old

Most standard tanks are built to last 8 to 12 years. After that you're running on luck, and they almost never fail politely.

Rusty or cloudy hot water

Brown, metallic-tasting hot water usually means the tank is corroding from the inside out.

You run out mid-shower

A tank that used to handle back-to-back showers and now can't is losing capacity to sediment buildup.

Popping or rumbling sounds

That's hardened sediment sitting on the burner surface. It wrecks efficiency and cracks the tank lining.

Any moisture at the base

Water pooling around the tank isn't a drip you keep an eye on. It's the last warning before it lets go.

A climbing gas or power bill

A struggling tank reheats the same 50 gallons around the clock, whether anybody's home or not.

The upgrade

Why homeowners don't go back to a tank.

Tankless isn't right for every house, and we'll tell you if yours is one of them. When it does fit, this is what changes.

Hot water that doesn't run out

Water heats on demand as it moves through the unit. Back-to-back showers with the dishwasher going, and it keeps up.

You get your garage back

The unit mounts on the wall in roughly the footprint of a carry-on. The 50-gallon cylinder goes away.

Around double the service life

Tankless units commonly run 20 years or more with routine descaling, against 8 to 12 for a standard tank.

Lower standby losses

The U.S. Department of Energy puts tankless at 24 to 34% more energy efficient than storage tanks in homes using up to 41 gallons a day.

No 50 gallons on your floor

There's no stored reservoir to rupture, so the most expensive water heater failure mode stops being possible.

Upfront pricing, financing available

You approve the number before we start. Qualified homeowners can finance at 0%. Ask when you book.

Very easy to work with, great follow-up and communication. They looked at alternative solutions when I told them my goal, and came a day earlier when something opened up. Two half-day jobs, both completed and perfectly done.

Straight answers

Tankless questions we get every week.

How much does a tankless water heater cost to install?

It depends on your gas line, your venting, and where the current unit sits, which is exactly why we look at it before quoting. You get one upfront number and you approve it before any work starts. No hourly surprises.

Can my house even take a tankless unit?

Most East Valley homes can, though not all of them without changes. Gas supply and venting are the two things that decide it. That's the first thing we check on the free assessment, and if a high-efficiency tank is the smarter buy for your house, we'll say so.

How long does the install take?

A straightforward swap is usually a single day. If the gas line or venting needs upsizing it runs longer. You'll know which one you're looking at before you commit to anything.

Do tankless units need maintenance?

Yes. Arizona's hard water means descaling actually matters, and skipping it is the main reason a tankless unit starts underperforming. We'll show you the schedule, or we can just handle it for you.

My tank still works. Why replace it now?

Because a planned replacement costs less than an emergency one. When a tank ruptures you're paying for water damage, drywall, and whatever was sitting on the garage floor. None of that shows up on a quote you chose to get.
